Toshiba Portege R500-S5007V - World’s First Laptop With 128GB SSD

Toshiba yesterday announced the release of Portege R500-S5007V, which was touted as the first laptop with 128GB SSD (Solid State Drive) in the world. For a huge $ 2,999 (about € 1927), you will get a laptop powered by a 1.33 Intel Core 2 Duo U7700 processor (2MB L2, 533MHz FSB), 2 GB of DDR2 memory, an Intel GMA950 graphics engine, and Microsoft Windows Vista Business Edition operating system (or Windows XP Professional if you want).
